A2 - Flying frog
This has happened so far: Wolf is not only a wolf, that is painfully evident by his rather wolfish look; Wolf is also The Wolf. This is a glimpse of his former life, before he met Little Red. It aims to explain something.
A green frog came flying through the air, humming like a like a hummingbird. The frog landed in front of him.
"Quack!" it said.
"Quack yourself," said the wolf.
"Ho ho, in a bad mood today are we?"
"Ho ho, sod off."
"Oi mate, what's the matter?"
"Everything."
"Tell me, my friend. I am here for you."
The wolf paused, looked at the frog, then nodded. "I.. I'm all alone. Lonely. Every day. I have no friends."
"You have me," said the frog and smiled warmly. The wolf blushed.
"Yes, ok, sorry."
"Don't be sorry, don't worry, be happy!" said the frog.
"Well," the wolf continued, "I live all on my own in this little house on the edge of the forest. Without any electricity."
"Cheerio, cheer up and smile. It's such a wonderful day."
Tears started flowing down the wolfs cheek. He sobbed, "I- I need a friend."
"You have me," the frog repeated aloud. This is when the reader turns away in disgust of the lack of tact used using clichés.
The wolf went over and lifted the frog and started to walk back to his house. He carried the frog in a loving embrace all the way. When he came to his house, he went to the kitcen and put the frog in a big pan, filled it water and put it on the oven.
Because the frog wanted to be nice to the wolf and show him that he had at least one friend, it let itself boil to death.
Afterwards the wolf ate the frog, and then he burped.
Now we know he was inclined to eat frogs before he met Little Red.
